How She Got Here
In her free time, Candice loves to play a good competitive card game of Spades; though she wasn’t dealt the best hand in her upbringing. Born and raised by her single-mother in the heart of Cleveland, Ohio, Candice was exposed to the unfortunate normalcies of violence, drugs, and poor education of the inner city. Despite various barriers, Candice’s mother was determined to keep her in church and by the age of six, Candice had accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized.
Stepping into adulthood with the trauma of her youth, Candice began to search for her identity in friendships, sex, food, and alcohol. On the outside, it looked as though Candice had it all together as she mastered her mask and in achievements, but on the inside she was dying…despite her faith in Christ.
After graduating college and getting a divorce in 2016, Candice started her journey from knowing ABOUT God to actually developing a relationship WITH God. Through lifestyle changes, discipleship, and a deepened relationship with God, she has learned and embraced the value of forgiveness, repentance, love, inner-healing, self-worth, and mental wellness!
Candice is now the woman you see today who is on a mission to serve so many others break free from the bondage of their past!

I am certified through the National Board of Christian Counselors (NACC). As a Certified Christian Life Coach, I help people change, expand their vision, identify & overcome obstacles, solve problems, make good decisions, and achieve their goals.
What is a Certified Christian Counselor?
The NACC Christian Counseling Certificate program was created to help Pastors, Associate Pastors, church staff, ministry leaders, and ministry volunteers to provide Christian Counseling in a church setting.
Can you diagnose me as a Certified Christian Counselor?
No. It is not a certification that qualifies people for state certification or a fee based stand alone counseling business or ministry which requires a master's degree.NACC Christian Counselor Certification is NOT to be confused with state licensing. In short, I use the knowledge I’ve obtained through my certification training and it’s interwoven throughout my coaching program. I do not provide singular counseling services.

My area of expertise falls within the realm of the Christian faith and self-development. The knowledge, skills, and experiences I’ve acquired in my Spiritual and secular journey has developed me into Faith and Mindset leader.
Why did I become a Faith and Mindset Coach?
I’ve always found myself providing advice to those around me. If someone needs help seeking clarity or how they should go about a difficult situation, I am always called upon. I’ve also served in ministry for years and for a period of time, I’ve led a young adult ministry as well as a singles ministry.
Aside from that, I’ve overcome some obstacles in life and I’m asked “how”. So I sat back and thought about my core values; Faith and self-development is a priority for me and it’s what I’m good at.
